August & Debouzy acted for Laboratoires Pierre Fabre in connection with a financing of €100 million granted by the EIB
The European Investment Bank agreed with Laboratoires Pierre Fabre to participate in the financing of pharmaceutical research programmes, particularly in the field of biotherapies; this commitment took the form of a financing agreement of €100 million granted by EIB to Pierre Fabre SA (allowing for the drawdown of tranches with a maturity of 7 years).
This loan will go towards financing 16 R&D projects currently being conducted by Laboratoires Pierre Fabre; these projects will be piloted from France, at Laboratoires Pierre Fabre’s main research centres.
August & Debouzy, with Tiphaine du Bois de Gaudusson, counsel, in particular, advised Laboratoires Pierre Fabre on setting up this financing.
