Diversity is in August & Debouzy’s genes and has come about naturally, through no specific effort or obligation on our part. We bring together a diverse and valuable range of people with original backgrounds, talented men and women who have progressed and who continue to progress within the firm, thus contributing to August & Debouzy’s strength, expertise and dynamism.
From the outset, women have played a major role at August & Debouzy. For a long time there were more female partners than male partners; this percentage is now 45% (nine out of twenty). The managing partners have always been women. 53% of our associates are women.
August & Debouzy is a business law firm which reflects the diverse origins of its clients and society. Our lawyers have different origins and speak different languages (over ten). The firm’s policy is to promote respect and the expression of the widest diversity. The Diversity Charter we have signed is proof of this.
