August & Debouzy headquarters are in Paris and have two other offices, in Brussels and Casablanca.

August & Debouzy’s Casablanca office opened in 2007 and specialises particularly in corporate transactions in Morocco as well as cross-border work between North African, West African and Middle East countries.

The Casablanca office advises Moroccan companies and institutions (State of Morocco, investment funds or service providers) in connection with the development of their activities in Morocco or abroad. The Casablanca office also serves as a platform for foreign countries in industrial, service, finance and real-estate sectors.

The Casablanca team has specific expertise in setting up Moroccan subsidiaries of foreign companies, tax structuring and negotiating investment contracts with the State of Morocco. We regularly advise on large-scale real-estate projects and corporate reorganisations.

Our usual working languages in Casablanca are Arabic, French, English and Spanish. Combining our Anglo-American and European cultures with our thorough knowledge of the MENA markets, we are able to facilitate the investment of foreign clients in Morocco while taking local specificities into consideration./.

August & Debouzy’s Brussels office opened in 2001 and is a platform from which August & Debouzy’s European practice – particularly in the area of competition law, EU regulatory law and lobbying – has developed with the support of the Paris office.

In the area of competition law, August & Debouzy assists with the notifications that our clients are required to file with the Commission regarding mergers & acquisitions and investigations launched by the Commission. August & Debouzy also acts for its clients in cases brought before the Court of First Instance of the European Communities (CFI) and before the Court of Justice of the European Union; the two partners of the Government, Regulatory and Competition Group are also members of the Brussels Bar.

In the area of regulatory law, August & Debouzy monitors the preparation of directives and European regulations on behalf of its clients: European or non-European entities. We have developed our lobbying work through our multi-disciplined teams, in liaison with corporate communication specialists.
