Céline Da Mota graduated from the University of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne in 1998 with a DEA postgraduate diploma in tax law. She began practicing in a small firm in 1998 before joining Landwell in 2001 and then August & Debouzy in 2002 (as a senior attorney) where she specializes in the taxation of companies and private individuals.
She advises French and foreign companies daily on various tax issues (definition and integrated implementation of income groups, calculating debt ratios, assisting with transfer pricing models, coordinating with law firms in other jurisdictions on cross-border tax issues, etc.) and their relations with the tax authorities (assisting with approval requests and tax audits/disputes).
Céline Da Mota also advises on LBOs, management software transactions and restructuring.
She advises private individuals on personal income tax issues (inheritance and donations tax, capital gains tax on the sale of companies) and the taxation of private assets.
