Dominique de Combles de Nayves, 54, married, three children, Conseiller Maître (Senior Magistrate) at the Cour des comptes (the French Court controlling the public accounts and the public expenditures at the national level) since 1985, had joined August & Debouzy in October 2004 in order to participate in the development of the Regulatory, Product liability and Competition Law department alongside Olivier Debouzy.  Before coming back in the firm on May 7, 2007 he was General Secretary of the Cour des Comptes.
 
Dominique de Combles de Nayves was successively “Directeur de cabinet”, (chief of staff) of the Deputy Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs (1990-1991), of the Deputy Minister for Cooperation and Development (1991-1992) and for the Minister of Defence (1998-2001).
 
He also served abroad as Consul general of France in Québec, Canada (1992-1996) and as Ambassador of France in Budapest, Hungary (2001-2004).
 
Dominique de Combles de Nayves has extensive knowledge of issues relating to the economic development of French companies abroad and to public procurement Dominique de Combles de Nayves is a graduate of IEP (Institute for Political Studies) in Paris (1976) and an alumnus of ENA (French National School of Administration, 1985).
