Swedish PIP breast implant recipients are now the ones seeking compensation for damages suffered, within the framework of a class action. They chose the law firm August & Debouzy to represent them.

On April 15, 2014, the Swedish clinic Proforma Clinic appealed to PIP breast implant recipients to come together to seek compensation in France against the French and German certification bodies.

Proforma Clinic has already received the files of approximately 400 victims and will submit them to the French law firm August & Debouzy.

Alexandra Cohen-Jonathan, partner at the law firm, will represent the victims, for whom legal action for compensation will be launched.

Alexandra Cohen-Jonathan, an expert in mass personal injury compensation, has advised clients in connection with a number of major cases such as the contaminated blood case or the case brought by asbestos-contaminated workers. Her experience as a defense lawyer will enable her, in the present case, to serve the interests of the victims as best as possible.
