August & Debouzy advised Caisse des Dépôts et consignations in connection with the acquisition of a shareholding interest in Freshmile Services.
Caisse des dépôts et consignations acquired a minority shareholding in Freshmile Services, a newly created company specializing in the exploitation and marketing of services related to the electric vehicle charging. Freshmile Services is a subsidiary of Freshmile, a start-up created in 2010 by Mr. Arnaud Mora which started in 2014 the marketing of a charging service for electric cars compatible with all types of vehicles and terminals, leader in both France and Germany. The aim of the new entity is to operate charging terminals on behalf of public bodies and private sector players. This project illustrates the commitment of Caisse des Dépôts to promote smart city.
The transaction was executed on January 22, 2016.
