Furthermore, the Paris Police Headquarters and the Organizing Committee for the Games may adopt additional measures, including limiting certain encroachments onto public roads or implementing worksite withdrawals, for reasons of public safety or to facilitate the movement of athletes and the public around the Olympic venues and their surroundings. 1. **Road and network works** The City of Paris has adopted a four-phase schedule, from September 1, 2023 to October 30, 2024, in order to manage road and network works before, during, and after the Games. - **Phase 1: From September 1, 2023 to March 15, 2024** During this period, network operators were required to systematically submit “technical instructions”, including for network renewals.
