August Debouzy accompanied SARP, a subsidiary of Veolia, in the acquisition of Suez RV OSIS (OSIS), a subsidiary of the Suez Group specialising in sanitation and industrial maintenance. The acquisition of OSIS comes after the green light under conditions, given
on April 28, 2021, by the Autorité de la concurrence. Both entities had entered into exclusive negotiations in August 2020.
Thanks to this acquisition, Veolia is positioning itself as a leading player in industrial sanitation and maintenance on French territory.
The operation gives rise to a set representing about 750 million euros in turnover and 6,700 employees. It is part of Veolia’s growth strategy, thanks to the complementarity of SARP and OSIS’s offers. This rapprochement will allow the new entity to develop new high-value-added services for its clients in the public, tertiary and industrial sector throughout France.
As part of this operation, SARP undertook to divest 8 OSIS agencies, located mainly in Île-de-France, thus excluding any concern about respect for competition law.
August Debouzy’s teams was composed by Jérome Brosset (partner), Gwendoline Hong Tuan Ha (senior lawyer), Coralie Foucault (lawyer) on the Corporate/M&A aspects, Vincent Brenot (partner) and Guillaume Potin (lawyer) on the public law aspects.
