August Debouzy advised Dassault Aviation on the acquisition of RUAG’s business aviation sites in Geneva and Lugano

Communiqué Corporate | 15/07/19 | Julien Aucomte Coralie Foucault Laure Khemiri

August Debouzy advised Dassault Aviation on the acquisition of the RUAG Group’s maintenance activities (MRO) and ground handling activities (FBO) in Geneva and Lugano.

With this sale, the RUAG Group, a long-standing partner of Dassault Aviation, is making a step forward in the implementation of its strategy to focus on Aerostructures and Space markets.

With this acquisition, the French aerospace group is pursuing its strategy to develop a global MRO network of excellence, following the announcement earlier in 2019 of the signing of final agreements with respect to the acquisition of ExecuJet’s maintenance operations in Africa, Middle-East and the Asia-Pacific region as well as TAG Aviation’s European maintenance operations.

Also, the acquisition of RUAG’s FBO activities will complement the services offered by Dassault Aviation in Switzerland, a key place for business aviation in Europe.
