August Debouzy advised SEGRO on the development of a 121,000-square-meter logistics facility and on the execution of a first lease agreement for premises under construction (BEFA) covering 60,500 square meters with a leading international provider of contract logistics services.
Located in the Loiret (France), the SEGRO Logistics Centre Montargis will be built on a 24-hectare site and will comprise a single building totaling 121,000 square meters. The facility will feature 128 dock doors, 12 ground-level access points, and a clear height of 14.7 meters. Its roof will host a photovoltaic power plant covering 100 percent of the usable surface area, with a target capacity of 12 MWp.
The first BEFA signed concerns five units totaling 60,500 square meters of space.
The firm advised SEGRO on all contractual aspects related to the execution of the BEFA and the real estate development agreement for the construction of this XXL logistics facility.
The team was led by Guillaume Aubatier, partner in charge of the Real Estate and Construction practice, with the support of Hélène Billery, partner, handling urban planning and environmental matters, and Dorian Scemama, counsel, focusing on real estate and construction aspects.
This project demonstrates the firm’s ability to mobilize highly experienced teams to support the development, construction, and commercialization of large-scale, complex logistics assets.
