Romain Bourdon

Associate, Patent Engineer

Romain Bourdon is a lawyer and patent engineer in the firm’s Technologies Media Intellectual Property team. He advises French and international clients on matters pertaining to patent law in a wide range of business sectors, including telecommunications and the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Romain was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2022. He began his career specialising in industrial property litigation and patent prosecution at a renowned Paris firm, before joining August & Debouzy in 2024.

As a graduate of Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan (now ENS Paris-Saclay) and the University of Paris-Saclay (Paris XI) in Chemistry-Physics as well as the University of Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) in Law, Romain possesses strong legal and technical skills in the various areas of intellectual property law.
