Condor Ferries was founded in 1964, its four vessels (two high-speed, one Ropax and one Freighter) now serve the ports of Poole, Portsmouth, Jersey, Guernsey and St. Malo and carry over one million people, 200,000 vehicles and 100,000 freight vehicles each year.

The acquisition, which has yet to be approved by the European competition authorities, would in particular allow Brittany Ferries, which currently operates in France, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Spain, to resume operations in the Channel Islands where the company used to operate in the past.

August Debouzy assisted Brittany Ferries with a team composed of Julien Aucomte (partner) and Ruben Grouchka (senior lawyer) as well as Travers Smith London (Lucie Cawood, partner) regarding the English law aspects.
