August Debouzy advised Groupe Lundi Matin, a software publisher specializing in omnichannel management solutions for businesses, on the takeover of Dispeo and its logistics site in Beauvais (Oise) by the Marseille Economic Activities Court.
Dispeo, a subsidiary of the Hopps Group specializing in logistics solutions, was placed in receivership by Marseille Business Court on July 4, 2024. It was the subject of a disposal plan designed to ensure its continued operation. The ambitious takeover plan put forward by Groupe Lundi Matin was selected, enabling 221 of the 240 existing jobs at the Beauvais logistics site to be preserved.
Founded in 2007, Groupe Lundi Matin is a Montpellier-based player in the digital transformation of businesses. With over 200 employees, it supports more than 6,000 customers of all sizes in 20 countries through its Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions dedicated to the needs of physical and online businesses.
Additionally, the acquisition of Dispeo’s Beauvais site enables Groupe Lundi Matin to complete its offering by integrating a logistics and e-commerce component, strengthening its technological and operational capabilities. The Beauvais site, with a storage capacity of one million bays, adds to the digital tools and robotic solutions already developed by the Group, allowing it to offer 360° solutions to all its customers.
The August Debouzy team advising Groupe Lundi Matin on this transaction comprised partner Laurent Cotret, counsel Clément Quernin, and associate Tom Louis from the Restructuring department.
Laurent Cotret, partner at August Debouzy, commented: “This transaction represents a milestone for the Lundi Matin Group, strengthening its position in the e-commerce logistics market and, above all, guaranteeing business continuity and the preservation of local jobs at the Beauvais site. We are particularly proud to have supported Lundi Matin in this takeover, which illustrates our commitment to advising innovative players in their strategic development and contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.”
