August Debouzy advised the family shareholders of the Escalotel group in the sale of nearly all of its shares to a consortium composed of Alboran, Trocadero Capital Partners and BPI France.The transaction involved performing a prior reorganization and covered a scope including all of the hotel activities of the Escalotel group, which is among one of the main franchisees of AccorHotel in France and which holds the businesses and the property of 12 hotels, representing around 850 rooms located in Paris, Amiens, Saint-Quentin and Avignon.
The group’s family shareholders and their family holding company were advised about the legal aspects by August Debouzy, with Laurent Cotret, partner, Emmanuel Vrillon-Darcy, associate, for the transactional and corporate aspects, and Pauline Radovitch, associate, for the tax structuring aspects of the prior reorganization.
