Valérie Munoz-Pons’s arrival as a counsel acknowledges the further development of a practice of excellence in criminal defence, negotiated justice, investigation and compliance.
Lawyer at the Paris Bar since 2007, Valérie Munoz-Pons assists French and foreign companies and their managers in criminal case law proceedings initiated by the judicial and regulatory authorities. Valérie Munoz-Pons has strong experience in fraud, corruption and money laundering given her intervention in many complex and cross-border cases involving foreign authorities, mainly Anglo-Saxons. Valérie Munoz-Pons is an expert in the conduct of large-scale internal investigations, in the context of simultaneous interventions of several French (AFA, PNF, Autorité de la concurrence, in particular) and foreign (Serious Fraud Office and Department of Justice) regulators.
Valérie Munoz-Pons also assists companies and their managers in the development, implementation and assessment of their compliance programs and in the context of any controls or audits they face.
Valérie has notably assisted Renault with the Ghosn case, Airbus with criminal business law cases and the former DRH group of France Télécom during criminal investigations. Valérie teaches at Sciences Po and the IHEDN.

Valérie Munoz-Pons is graduated from HEC Paris and also from the University of Paris II Assas where she obtained a master’s degree (Master 2) in international taxation. She worked at August Debouzy from 2007 to 2017 and then joined as a counsel the Parisian office of an American Law firm entirely dedicated to litigation.
