Hélène is a key figure in handling our complex matters in public and environmental law,” added Mahasti Razavi.
Jennifer HINGE brings over 20 years of recognized expertise in financing operations, with a particular focus on LBO transactions, corporate financing, and debt restructuring.
After practicing at Anglo-Saxon law firms from 2001 to 2008, Jennifer HINGE co-founded her own firm, which became one of Paris’s leading corporate finance boutiques. She advises mid-cap listed and private family-owned companies, primarily in the industrial sector, as well as lenders, including debt funds, on a wide range of financing, refinancing, and debt restructuring matters. She also assists French and international clients with LBO operations.
Jennifer HINGE joins August Debouzy’s Corporate team, which includes partners Gilles AUGUST, Julien AUCOMTE, Jérôme BROSSET, Laurent COTRET, Valéry DENOIX DE SAINT MARC, Etienne MATHEY, and Julien WAGMANN.
“I am delighted to join August Debouzy, a firm whose diverse expertise and exceptional talent pool enable us to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients’ most complex challenges. “Jennifer’s arrival is a significant milestone in our development, allowing us to offer a comprehensive range of services. Alongside Antonia RACCAT, she will bolster our robust financing expertise, addressing our clients’ growing needs in corporate finance, acquisition financing across all asset classes—including real estate—and debt restructuring,” commented Julien AUCOMTE on behalf of the Corporate department.
Jennifer HINGE joins the firm accompanied by Pauline DESPLAS, a senior associate.
A graduate of the DEA in General Private Law from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II), Jennifer HINGE began her career in 2001 at Anglo-Saxon law firms, specializing in LBO financing and debt restructuring. In 2008, she co-founded her own firm, which became one of the leading corporate finance boutiques in Paris. Her expertise spans all aspects of financing, from advising mid-cap companies to leading complex LBO transactions.
Hélène BILLERY has established herself as a recognized expert in public law, particularly in litigation.
Her outstanding practice spans public law, environmental law, urban planning, and public health. She has been involved in high-profile cases, including mining law in New Caledonia, emergency proceedings for the reopening of shopping centers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and parliamentary inquiry commissions. As a partner, she aims to build strategic bridges with other practice areas of the firm and address critical issues such as climate change and corporate sovereignty.
“I am delighted to contribute even more actively to the influence of August Debouzy. I see this promotion as a testament to the trust placed in me and my technical expertise. With four partners now specializing in public law, we are well-positioned to handle increasingly sophisticated and strategic cases requiring significant innovation. These are highly motivating challenges,” said Hélène BILLERY.
Vincent BRENOT, Partner in the Public, Regulatory, and Environmental Law department, added: “Hélène is one of the most accomplished experts in administrative litigation. We have worked together for over ten years in perfect synergy. Her enthusiasm for exploring the ‘gray areas’ of the law is an inspiration for our entire team. Her intellectual rigor, legal creativity, reliability, and tenacity are invaluable assets in addressing the economic and environmental challenges faced by our clients.”
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008, the year she joined August Debouzy, Hélène BILLERY, 43, has developed deep expertise in public law after international experience in Montréal and New York. She advises businesses and public administrations in both advisory and contentious matters, particularly in public business law, public procurement law, urban planning law, public health law, and environmental law.
Committed to knowledge-sharing, she has taught at Paris I and Paris IV universities and regularly conducts training sessions in public and environmental law for the firm’s clients.
