August Debouzy represented Dany Boon in the “Thierry B.” fraud case

On September 26, 2025, the Criminal Court of Nice convicted Thierry B. of fraud in connection with the acquisition and management of a luxury yacht.
This decision marks the culmination of more than three years of work by August Debouzy, in close collaboration with judicial authorities and fellow lawyers in Ireland, England, Italy, Belgium, Monaco, and the Bahamas.
After bringing an end to this international fraud, the Irish freezing order secured in 2022 now enables recovery of the losses, with the court ordering Thierry B. to reimburse all misappropriated funds.
