August Debouzy advises Adveo France in connection with its acquisition by Comercial del Sur de Papelería

August Debouzy advised Adveo France and its subsidiaries in connection with their court-supervised restructuring proceedings (redressement judiciaire), opened on 6 August 2025 before the Commercial Court of Bobigny, as well as in connection with the sale process implemented following these proceedings.
This process resulted in the approval of sale plans by judgments dated 9 December 2025, in favour of the Comercial del Sur de Papelería (CSP) group, through its French subsidiary CS COMLANDI.
The approved sale plans allow for the transfer of Adveo’s main assets in France, the continuation of a significant part of the business, and the preservation of approximately 100 jobs.
Adveo Group is one of the leading European players in the wholesale distribution of office supplies, services and solutions, and notably operates the Calipage, Buro+, Plein Ciel and TOP OFFICE brands. Established in France since 1990, Adveo France operates as a network head and franchisor. The group was also present in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, enabling it to position itself as a key player in the office supplies market in France and the Benelux region.
The transfers became effective as of 10 December 2025. The operational implementation of the sale plans is currently ongoing.
August Debouzy advised on all legal aspects of the restructuring proceedings and the sale process, with a team composed of Laurent Cotret (partner), Aurélien Mitelette and Ulysse Brasier.
The restructuring proceedings were conducted under the supervision of:
- Court-appointed administrators: Ajilink Labis-Cabooter-De Chanaud (Jean Cabooter, Jean de Chanaud) and BL & Associés (Michel Bouyer);
- Court-appointed receivers: Marie Danguy and SCP Angel-Hazane-Duval (David Hazane).
