August & Debouzy received a special distinction in the “Best French Law Firm” category during the ILASA international summit (International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards).

ILASA rewards the best independent law firms of the year, in various countries. After an accurate selection based on qualitative and quantitative criteria, including performance and leadership, laureates are distinguished per country. More than 200 independent law firms participated in the 2011 edition of these international awards.
The French jury was notably made of representatives from the following companies: Vivendi, The Walt Disney Company, Dexia, Accenture, Thalès, EADS, CIT group, etc.
This annual event organized by the Décideurs Stratégies Finance Droit magazine took place on
June 23, 2011 and gathered more than 600 senior representatives of the leading law firms as well as general counsels and senior executive officers from more than 40 countries.
