Counsel
Dorian Scemama has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2011. He joined August Debouzy in September 2021 as Counsel, after working for ten years in the Real Estate teams of the Paris offices of two international law firms.
Dorian specializes in all areas of real estate work, with a special focus on real estate corporate (acquisitions and disposals of property-owning companies and portfolios of real estate assets), real estate private equity (joint ventures/shareholders' agreements), commercial leases, sophisticated construction and property development transactions, asset management and real estate finance. He also specialises in strategic pre-contentious and contentious matters related to the real estate and construction sectors. Dorian is regularly called upon to act for clients at all stages of real estate-related transactions. His experience extends to the acquisitions and disposals of different types of real estate assets (including offices, hotels, shopping centres, industrial premises and residential properties), the financing or refinancing aspects of transactions, the development and construction of all types of sophisticated real estate projects, the leasing and asset management of real estate assets (acting for both landlords and tenants).
Dorian Scemama's expertise also includes the provision of regular advice on strategic real estate and construction pre-contentious matters and real estate debt restructuring.
Dorian's French and foreign clients include private equity funds, investors, asset managers, banks, large corporations, users, project owners, contractors/developers, and family offices.
