August Debouzy advised Icade on its acquisition of the remaining 49% stake in the Eqho Tower from an OPPCI managed by Amundi, making Icade once again the sole owner of one of the landmark office towers in Paris La Défense.
The transaction comes seven years after Icade sold the minority stake. By reacquiring it, Icade has regained full ownership of the approximately 79,000-square-meter office property, which is currently fully leased, notably following the renewal of KPMG's lease and the signing of a new lease with the Hauts-de-Seine Prefecture.
August Debouzy advised Icade on all legal aspects of the acquisition. The team was led by Antonia Raccat, partner, with Benjamin van Gaver, partner, and Mathilde Cagnato, associate. Antonia Raccat and Mathilde Cagnato advised on the real estate aspects of the transaction, while Benjamin van Gaver handled the dispute resolution matters.
