Lawyer at the Paris bar since 2007, Valérie is counsel. Her practice focuses on white collar crime, compliance and investigations.
Valérie assists clients before criminal authorities and courts at all stages of proceedings, from investigation to final hearing, in very high-profile matters involving frauds and corruption.
She has a particular expertise in complex white-collar crime (corruption, favoritism, publishing of false company accounts, misuse of corporate assets).
She also assists French and international clients on compliance issues (codes of conduct, internal investigations, risk analysis, whistle-blowing, trainings…) in the context of both French legal requirements (Sapin II Law, Duty of care ) and foreign regulations (UKBA, FCPA) they may be subject to.
Valerie has been working in the white-collar crime group of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP in Paris office during several years.
Valérie teaches Compliance, International Regulation and Business Ethics at Sciences Po. She also teaches compliance and investigations at the IHEDN (Institut des hautes études de défense nationale) after teaching for several years at Sciences Po.
