August & Debouzy advises X-Air Aviation in connection with the acquisition of XL France

After acquiring XL Germany in November 2011, X-Air Aviation is now a shareholder of XL France.
With the support of the American investment fund Beachside Capital, X-Air Aviation holding acquired Straumur/ALMC investment bank’s equity interest in XL France in order to establish a major player on the tourism air transportation market.
This acquisition helps bring together two sister companies, XL France and XL Germany (owned by X-Air Aviation since November 2011), which complement each other as regards the destinations served and are one of the very few European airlines with rising sales.
