Pierre Pérot advises French and international clients on all strategic issues related to intellectual property. He possesses extensive expertise in trademark, design, copyright, and neighboring rights. With solid experience in intellectual property and unfair competition litigation, Pierre skillfully handles both national and multi-jurisdictional disputes, as well as proceedings before French and European IP offices.
He advises clients operating in sectors with high media and economic exposure, notably luxury, sports, entertainment and video games, on complex, high-stakes, cross-disciplinary issues.
Pierre’s career began with various internships at prestigious French law firms, including Advant Altana and Gide, as well as within the IP department of Orano (formerly Areva). He later joined the European IP law firm Hoyng ROKH Monégier as a lawyer, before bringing his expertise to August Debouzy in 2022.
Pierre is an active contributor to the intellectual property field, regularly publishing articles in specialized journals and speaking at conferences related to his practice. He also provides training in trademark and copyright law to clients and students pursuing studies in intellectual property. In addition, he has served as a lecturer at the University of Panthéon-Assas.
