This special event, prepared in consideration of the increasing practical importance of compliance issues in the context of arbitration proceedings, will bring together the expertise of arbitration and criminal lawyers in order to provide insights to better anticipate and handle corruption issues when they arise in the context of arbitration proceedings. It will notably address the following issues:

  • Origins and goals of compliance and implementation in the context of arbitration
  • Impact of investigations and cooperation between/with prosecuting authorities
  • Impact of allegations of corruption in arbitration and at enforcement stage
