August Debouzy advised Coatue Management, Catalio Capital Management, and Fidelity Management and Research on their acquisition of an equity interest in DNA Script, a pioneer in DNA printing, as part of a €142 million Series C financing round involving seven new investors.

As a French company with a unique enzymatic DNA synthesis (EDS) technology, DNA Script has expanded its capital base and capital-raising efforts in order to market its new DNA printer called Syntax. This technological innovation makes it possible to print in record time all DNA fragments required to develop messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines.

August Debouzy advised the lead investors in this capital raising: Coatue Management, a global technology-focused investment firm, Catalio Capital Management, a global investment firm dedicated to breakthrough biomedical technology companies, and Fidelity Management and Research, one of the world's leading third-party asset managers. Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Arrowmark Partners, Farallon Capital and Moore Strategic Ventures also joined DNA Script’s capital.
