August & Debouzy advises COMPAGNIE DES ALPES on its acquisition of a stake in SOCIETE DU PARC DU FUTUROSCOPE

August & Debouzy advised Compagnie des Alpes S.A. (CDA SA) on its acquisition of almost 45% of the shareholding interests in the operator of the Futuroscope Park. CDA SA is now the leading shareholder of the Park.

COMPAGNIE DES ALPES specializes in acquiring, holding and managing French and foreign enterprises operating in the mountain tourism or theme park industries and has developed its business mainly in France and Europe, where it is a leader.

From COMPAGNIE DES ALPES, this transaction was led by Sandra Goussu, Director of Strategy and Shareholdings, and Philippe Jutard, the Group’s Director of Legal Affairs.

Valéry Denoix de Saint Marc, partner in August & Debouzy’s corporate department, coordinated the firm’s teams advising on the negotiation of the agreements (Emilie Cazes, Benoit Robert), government and regulatory issues (Dominique de Combles de Nayves, Rémy Philippot, Mathias Dantin) and labor and employment issues (Virginie Devos, Maricaroline Sinet). The due diligence for the transaction was also carried out by the firm’s teams (Mahasti Razavi, Alexandra Berg-Moussa and Claire Constans-Gavarry for commercial agreements, Dominique de Combles de Nayves and Mathias Dantin for the regulatory aspects, Virginie Devos and Maricaroline Sinet for the labor and employment aspects, along with Valéry Denoix de Saint Marc and Benoît Robert for the corporate issues). Cécile Menu-Eisenchteter also advised on certain competition and antitrust issues.
